Nigeria: a failed state?

Could this be true? Can the once feared Giant of Africa now a failed state? YES!!!
At first, I was furious when I read this article. My first instinct was to comment and give the author the worst part of my Monday Madness, but it is with sadness and sorrowful solitude that I agree with the author that indeed, my country, my first love, my motherland, land of green and white is a failed state should we evaluate it narrowly:(

Like the author listed, going by the seven characteristics of a failed government, Nigeria scores zero in each category.

1. Dysfunctional government: YUP: do we have one?

2. Dysfunctional Educational system: YUP...school is out...strike every where...poor students

3. Dysfunctional health system: YUP: have you been to the so called hospitals lately?

4. Dysfunctional Transport system: YUP...remr back in the day when one cld travel from East to North within eight hours...sighssss

5. Breakdown of law and order: make sure to have ur change to give to the police. Better yet, don't go to the police hoping that they would help you if ur loved one is kidnapped, they are part of the crew.

6. Corruption in high places of the highest order: lol...corruption? that is the "rule of law" in Nigeria

7. Dysfunctional social services: lol...social gini? please let's face our front

So my country people, let's call a spade, a spade. If deep down any of the above is not true, I will be glad to be proved wrong. I really don't know what will save that country?
